Roger Schumann
Roger Schumann is the owner, founder and lead instructor of Eskape Sea Kayaking in Santa Cruz, California. With over 20 years of teaching experience, he's a regular coach at kayak symposiums on the West Coast from California and Oregon to Baja and Chile.
His instructor certifications include ACA Level 5 Instructor-Trainer Educator of Advanced Open-Water Kayaking, Instructor Trainer of Surf Kayaking and Coastal SUP, and instructor of Whitewater Kayaking and SUP Surfing.
Roger is the award-winning co-author of the guidebook "Sea Kayaking Central and Northern California" and "Sea Kayak Rescue." His latest book is "Falcon Guide's Basic Illustrated Sea Kayaking."
